I have the same Camo jacket at PMG – thanks to sitting beside her on Norfolk beach photographing snow buntings in a gale.

Warm it is, and totally waterproof – I love it. But only if I am walking minimally as it is totally non breathable. It is pretty quiet, but not silent.

Bought from fishing shop.

Mind you, even highly breathable fabrics stop being so when they’re wetted out.

I’d never heard of them, but brought a hat a couple of weeks back and it was great during the snow. Now seen a ‘Hunters’ jacket, same oak camo pattern, to match. Anyone got any experiance of this jacket, price seemed good.

Thanks everyone. It’s given me lots to think about.

I have the Hunters Jacket in Oak pattern , nice and light and comfy to wear but not so good if you intend walking far , very sweaty after a 5 mile walk , wouldn’t buy again .
