Hi Pauline, glad you made it back to Lancashire safely! Great presentation and great to meet you all too……I’m sure it wont be the last.
BTW, I cant nail that Cladonia you showed – I think its too worn and a couple of possibilities arise….

A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Pauline and Ian, Oh yes and a Happy Birthday as well Pauline…..I seem to have missed everyone’s special occations of late (work has a lot to answer too).
I’ve just noticed that you’ve not been very well lately, I’m really sorry to hear that and I’m sure Ian is looking after you as you deserve, I hope you get better soon and look forward to seeing your amazing images in the Gallery again soon.

    You both take care now.

    Regards, Wayne

I’m looking forward to a quiet day doing chores. I may even go into work or do some here. Whatever I do, I am safe in the knowledge that Christmas is almost a whole year away! Countdown Clock to Christmas 2014

Glad to see your mam seems to have settled but as you say its a nasty disease as its like living with a stranger in a loved ones body…very sad and a difficult situation to live with. The thing is it can happen to anyone and is something that most families have to be aware of…I just worry that now we are having to work longer there may be some people who may get early onset dementia whilst working in a full time job! My retirement age is 66 and my nieces are likely to have to work till they are 70 the way things are going! We may be living longer but none of us know the state of our health or mind in older age!
Thanks for my birthday wishes-I will be working..
My xmas will be spent round my sisters and at home, but we have plenty of grub stashed and will be happy just to chill in front of the box.Anyway I hope you have the Xmas you wish for and are able to indulge a bit without having any side effects lol!
Take care,my bestest wishes to Ian too,may speak soon….
    Love Ellen xx

Don’t know how blogs work so giving this a go to see what happens!

I mentioned in a thread yesterday that I had not one but three hawfinches outside the caravan for a few minutes …. I grabbed the camera and shot off a few frames but the windows are plastic and double glazed so the results were as expected pretty dire – however – even tho I rarely post a bad pic I’m going to post one now just to prove a point!
