Can you help. I cant connecting to the site using http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk. I have tried different browsers all with the same result. I have reset computer, router to no avail. The result I receive is the server is not responding. A friend at a different location can log on as me. He is sending this message for me. I’m receiving e-mail from the site okay and from other members about my photos. - Hi
First my apology. Then………….
I’m driven to try to communicate with members, commanders, or anybody about my problem.
I bought a new computer and have tried innumerable time to connect to WAB with it. My login is not recognised. When I ask to check password I’m told that I will be emailed instructions, which never come. I must be bunging up somebody’s mailbox. I’ve tried to get someone under the heading "contact us" and each time am told "your message has been sent" but get no response. I’ve tried logging in under another name, without success.
I’m writing this on my old computer which will connect, but any messages I’ve sent are still unanswered.
I’m now trying to leave a message for any moderator.
HELP!
Triops - Thanks John. No it will not put me off at all, I have a large collection and try to work through them. I like the colours and the shapes.
- Hi John,
Hope all is well and you have had some good hunting for fungi.
I am hoping you can do a favour for me. On the 15 Nov I added an image of a Sickner to the Gallery but after having a message which says that it may not be correct and I am no expert on this subject at all. My knowledge is well below average so can you please delete the image. I do not want an image on if it is incorrect or the ID is not 100%. I am now going to stay away from adding fungi images.
I tried with the dates you gave me to come along to a meet but my visit to Yorkshire would not work around those dates. I have a few problems with my mother so things don’t always work out the way I would like them to.
Hope all is well with you.

Can you give me an idea of directions once i’m near Clumber, i shall use the M1 & A57 - Hi John, Thanks for the offer to Clumber Park which would be great but it is a long drive from Dorset. I am due to make a visit to Yorkshire to sort a few things out with my mother so if I know the date it may just fit in but at this point just not sure what I am doing and when. Let me know and if not this time I am sure we will meet up. Thanks again for the invite.
Richard - What’s the problem lets go for a month. I know it would take longer but it would be a start.
- I managed to finish them a few years ago. I still have 30-40 mountains over 2000ft in Wales to do, most of them in South Wales. If you ever get to the point of doing the last Wainwright I would be pleased to do it with you. Probably get some good images for the members section on WAB. You may even get a few other takers wishing also to do it.
