Just been having a nostalgic browse through the Bempton 2014 thread and thought I might be tempted to do it again next year.

Would anybody be up for it?

The best times for me would be mid May or mid to late September. For those who have done it before we could have a break from the coast and spend one of the days in Whykam forest area.

Hopefully those who could not make it last year will be able to come.

I Could not Make it this year, but certainly be up for it next year though will depend a lot on the date I am in Scotland for a week at the end of April so if its in may mid may or towards the end would suit though will wait and see what you come up with and then make a decision

How about Friday 22nd to Monday 25th? Though I can do any weekend in May so if one of the bank holiday weekends would be better for the majority we could do either Friday 1st or Friday 29th.

Aghem … Ian says have I forgotten we are going to Kent orchid hunting … I had that on the calendar for the 30th but he’s reminding me that should the season start early we must be off the week before on the 23rd … I don;t want to make this meet revolve around what we can or can’t do – so I’m not insisting you make it to suit us as that would be unfair esp if we then can;t make it and everyone is dancing to our tune and we’re not actually there if you see what I mean. I will see what others prefer and go with that or not as the case may be!

Lets ask all who’ve shown interest so far:
the choices are 1st to 4th (Bank Holiday weekend, 8th to 11th and 15th to 18th. Would the bank holiday weekend be best for or one of the others?
