Description: 

This is an unmistakable fungus that is violet with coral shaped branches found in meadows, pastures and unimproved grassland growing in lines or circles. The branches are rounded or can be pointed at the tips and are joined together at the base. Older specimens can the appear faded or yellowish. 

Distribution: 

Rare, mainly found in the south of the U.K.

Habitat: 

Unimproved grassland, including meadows, pastures and cemeteries.
