Information
Description: 

An infrequent, medium sized agaric found growing in broadleaf woodland alone or in scattered groups.

Distribution: 

Infrequent from late Summer till Autumn.

Habitat: 

Broadleaf woodland and less commonly in mixed woodland

Cap: 

Convex, later flat or slightly depressed, fulvous or tawny-brown often with a paler margin, smooth but with a sulcate margin, can be slightly sticky.

Flesh: 

Cap flesh thin, granular, brittlwe, white with a fulvous tinge. Stem flesh stuffed becoming hollow, white, also with a fulvous tinge.

Gills: 

Decurrent, narrow, close, buff or fulvous, exude milk.

Stem: 

More or less equal, stout and smooth, ring absent, concolorous with the cap.

Additional Notes: 

Inedible.
