Description: 

A small cup-shaped, cream coloured  fungus found usually in troops on soil in broadleaf woodland.

Distribution: 

Infrequent from Summer till Autumn.

Habitat: 

Broadleaf woodland on soil.

Cap: 

The fruitbody's upper surface is pale ochraceous cream and smooth. The lower surface is concolorous and finely downy.

Flesh: 

Pale cream, thin and brittle. Odour and taste not distinctive.

Additional Notes: 

Distinguished from T. cupularis by the wider spores and lobed paraphyses.
