Strengths:
Light in wind
Weaknesses:
expensive for what they are
I bought these to light my camping stove in difficult conditions and also for lighting fires on working parties - they work okay though not infallably - and all though they are supposed to stay lit in a 50mph wind I found that they did not in considerably lesser winds.
although they were more reliable than standard matches and burnt for longer they were also more than eight times more expensive and IMO not worth the money.
It would be cheaper and more effective to buy a peizo lighter for the gas stove and a cheap pack of gas lighters for lighting fires etc
a thumbs down from me

Strengths:
Fairly windproof, waterproof
Weaknesses:
Price, Hard to light
They are relativity wind & water proof, they also relight if doused in water (not always a good thing), that is if you can get them to light in the first place, requires a very firm strike which isn't that easy when its freezing cold and chucking it down.
You'd be much better off with a jet flame lighter, much more reliable and usefull.

Strengths:
Wind/Water Proof, lightweight.
Weaknesses:
Sulpher smell, burns too long, inner core of match stays hot
I've mine for now for 20 years and alway's go away with me on cycling/walking camping trips. I've only used a couple of matches so far, but this was in gale force wind and really worked. A normal match would be hopeless in such conditions. A great back-up for so little weight.
