Custom designed for each model of camera, "Camera Armor" housings fit snugly around your equipment while still giving you full access to all controls. Essentially it means that your camera will still be protected from shock while out of its case meaning you won't miss shots delving into your camera case.
Additional features include a clear polycarbonate LCD protector, lens guard (for most models up to 85mm diameter), corner/ lens protection with impact resistant material and a lens cap leash. Tripod mounting is also still possible with the housing in place.

Strengths:
Well Made, Splash Protection,
Weaknesses:
Feel, Battery Pack
A good idea but not all that practical in my experience, easy to fit but makes the controls a lot more fiddly to use, this may just be my big fingers though.
It also requires some modification to fit a battery grip with it attached.
I will only be using it for gig photos and in light rain.
