A new water-repellent, insulating windproof fleece jacket from Páramo. Lightweight and lower bulk, the new Tiempo Fleece is ideal for use on and off the hill. This fleece was purchased just after christmas and was a real bargain considering Paramo only released the Forest Green colour in november. At full price the fleece will set you back £130.00! But as I managed to spot this one at £89.00 I snapped it up.
Its first outing was on a very windy day and, as Paramo state in the description you would not think it could offer much in the way of windproofing as it is so thin and lightweight, but I can say it did and kept me warm as toast! The fabric is nothing like a conventional fleece as it feels more velvety than fleecey, nevertheless it does exactly what it says and will be worn often.
The Tiempo is a step up the ladder for Paramo as its predesessor the Taiga Fleece was much too bulky and far too warm which put many off purchasing it. Its such a great jacket that my husband is going to buy one too. I'm sure this will be a hit for Paramo and will be around for quite some time.
