The SNUGPAK CODE GREEN Pile Pants is Snugpak's version of the traditional Pile trousers with thick pile for greater warmth and innovative high wicking Paratex Tuff outer.
Team up these pile lined Paratex Tuff pants with the Snugpak Pile Shirt for an exceptionally warm wicking base layer system. Designed to be worn next to the skin to maximise the moisture management properties.
Paratex Tuff is constructed from fine filament yarns to a higher finished weight than Paratex light, for use in more robust garments. The gaps between the fibres cause the moisture to wick across a larger surface area allowing it to evaporate more readily, as the perspiration is evaporating from within the fabric the user is not cooled.
As an outer for activity clothing, it's particularly suitable for use with Pile.
Completely manufactured within Europe (Extruded, Woven and Dyed & Finished)

Strengths:
very warm
Weaknesses:
not waterproof or good in rain
These are very warm and are ideal for use in extreme cold or where you will not be moving arround a lot - I have a pair that i use in hides while photographing deer and foxes
They wick sweat away from the skin very effetively and are soft and snugly to wear
they do however have a major draw back , they are not waterproof and once wet stay wet for ages, while they remain quite warm while wet they also become heavy and uncomfortable to wear.
therefore if you are going to be out in the rain or crawling about alot in wet foliage it is essential that these are teamed with waterproof trousers
