Strengths:
Huge disc capacity. Easy to use.
Weaknesses:
Battery Power a bit on the low side
I use mine purely as a storage device for my images. You can download your images straight from your card, it takes Compact Flash I/II, SD/MCC Memory Stick, Mini SD, and Smartmedia. It also Supports most RAW modes, so you can view your images as soon as you've uploaded them. You can update this through their web site as new formats become available.
I've got the 80GB model which I managed to fill in just over three months!
When connected to your PC it's just another external storage device, so you can simply drag and drop files to and from the device easily.
I wouldn't go out without it, and although the battery life isn't too good, it's fine if all your doing is uploading images. It will do this all day long without a problem.
It comes with it's own sturdy case for protection, and is supplied with all the necessary leads. It charges with a mains adaptor.
As well as images, it will also Play back Mpeg 1,4 and DivX-5X video files and MP3,AAC,WAV and CDA Audio.
So far it's proved to be a reliable backup device, although I have had the odd software lock up when playing images back, but you simply re-set it and your back in business.
