Strengths:
Very hard waring and holds a huge amount.
Weaknesses:
Very heavy and a tad awkward to clean.
If you're serious about attracting goldfinches and siskins and a few dozen greenfinches, go out and buy it.It's shear size makes it a talking point and when there's a charm of finches, one at every port, it's great.
My only concern is that it does need very regular, thorough cleaning so as to keep the contamination level to a minimum, what with the problems with disease in finches at the moment.
Nyjer seed is expensive, but undoubtedly attracts the finches like a magnet. I buy mine in bulk online to save a few bob.
By the way-use a VERY strong, deep hook to hang it from, when it's full it's not light! Perhaps it should come with a helmet!!
