Strengths:
Crystal clear, Rugged, ergonomic
Weaknesses:
I absolutely love these binoculars and observing has taken on a new light since I got both the 10x26 for the glovebox and the 10x42's for out walking. Last week one of my peers had a £350 pair of binos and, in my opinion, these matched them in optical quality and were far nicer in design and to hold. I particularly like the ergonomically shaped eyecups that effectively eliminate distracting sidelight. These can be folded back for those that wear spectacles.
Next weekend I will get to try out some very expensive optics so may change my opinion but I did try a number of pairs at the same pricepoint and none came close. For that reason I rate them 10's.
I really can't see myself justifying any more than this price on optics, other than to go down the route of a scope.
