Half way between a survival bag and a tent, this is a simple, lightweight and easy to use portable shelter which can be used virtually anywhere. There are no strings or poles - you climb inside and it drapes itself around you. Potentially life-saving in an emergency, you can also use it as your own wee portable bothy for lunch stops or tea breaks in wet weather. There are an assortment of sizes on the market. The Blokka Bag version is available in two and four person models

Strengths:
lightweight , easy to pack
Weaknesses:
I have only had to use this bag "in anger" once - half way up ben mac dhu when a blizzard hit, but it is great bit of kit and i was really glad i got it
basically you just whip it out of your bag and jump in - job done.
Although the bag is supposedly for two I found it easy to use alone by using my bergen to prop up the other end
a tasty bit of kit which I would reccomend to anyone going hillwalking, it could save your life
