I bought this camera together with a second film back, and 80mm and 45mm lenses in order to meet the image requirements of a client who wanted very high res for calendars.
I was a bit aprehensive as I had never used medium format gear before and wasnt sure what to expect , but the mamiya proved a joy to use and very simple too. My model is the old Manual focus one with no integral metering (I use my DSLR as a light meter) but despite being over 20years old its build quality is excelent , optically it is brilliant , the lenses are razor sharp and the whole system is so user freindly
I also bought the optional eyepiece adaptor which enables you to use the system like an outsized SLR rather than having the image reversed in a waist level finder again a cracking bit of kit
The only difficult thing is learning to load roll film - it is a bit like rolling a cigar , but once you get used to that, and to only having ten shots per roll it is amazing and the scanned slides are equivalent of a 20MP image
For anyone wanting to dip their toe in the water of medium format I would recomoend this system highly
