One of Britain’s best loved animals is described by someone who has badgers on his doorstep, and has taken advantage of this to study them as individuals. All aspects of biology, behaviour, sett-building and feeding are included, plus the debate about TB and the history of badger persecution. ‘This book will appeal to all nature lovers whatever their age or interest. The text is clear and beautifully illustrated by the author whose style and sense of fun give the book a very personal quality.’ - Times Educational Supplement

Nothing major, if you are after this level of book
This review refers to the revised edition but I think it is pretty similar to the original one.
If you know nothing or only a little about badgers but want to learn a lot more, this is a great book. It is written in a clear and easy to read style, but also contains a lot of information and is obviously based on extensive time in the field watching badgers, plus considerable scientific knowledge. I'm happy to recommend it.
Doesn't contain any photos inside, but has lots of drawings, some fun and some conveying usefulf information.
