It didn't bother with it Nick - it made its way straight off and onto the wood - musn't have fancied the gymnopilus!!

Cracking image Pauline. Similar to my experience looking for the Kerry slug. Couldn't find one in four years then found four inside a bat box in Glenariff National Park. Also, you think you've got loads of time to set up the shot but they're off very quickly!
