Hmmm... interesting. This is not Ammophila sabulosa... in fact, its not an Ammophila at all - the petiole is much more elongated in Ammophila. It is a member of the related genus Podalonia. There are 2 Podalonia species in UK, and the only one of the 2 known from Anglesey is P. hirsuta. The second species, P. affinis, is known from the Sefton coast and so not toooo far away. Ideally one would need to check specimens to confirm the identity
