Other sources appear confused between these two and H. pseudoconica.
On my lawn. Cap 30 to 40mm., split into 4 lobes. Flesh under the skin of the cap is yellow when freshly broken, turning black. The cap is reported to be yellow or orange when young, not observed in this instance. |
