Large Heath photographed at Meathop Moss, Cumbria on the 13.07.2006. The purple heather also in the shot is cross-leafed heather which is the butterflies main food source.

Nice shot. I have seen these butterflies at Whixhall Moss in Shropshire though I have not photographed one yet.
