Roger, I am not too sure if you have focussed on the leaf or if there is a bit of camera shake, possibly a combination? Jon

The camera focused on the leaf. I had to crop the image quite a bit as i am using a 200mm lens but it does not have a macro facility. The lens a sigma 18 - 200mm spends a lot of time hunting when I use it in auto focus for insects. There is also some camera shake as the lens I am using has a max arpeture of 6.3. You can see the focus/shake problem I am having with all my shots of insects. I am hoping to buy a macro lens with a wide arpeture to reduce the problem
