I think that's a nicely presented photograph arvensis, or should I say composed, I'm intrigued by the background, is it an arm? what ever it is it's quite effective. Very nice.

I suspect that this is either Imperforate St John's-wort (Hypericum maculatum) or Des Etang's St John's-wort (Hypericum x desetangsii) but a bit difficult to tell from a photograph.

Thanks for the comments, it is indeed an arm in the background, though it is there by accident rather than planning!
