A couple of brilliant images of the Black Necked Grebe Graham, a species seldom seen, well I have never seen one anyway. Lovely eye colour as well. Nice to see you posting again.

Thank you John.
We were very lucky that day. A new hide had just been commissioned and we were the only ones in it. An attendant pointed out that the Black Necked Grebe was around, so we waited and sure enough he came within about 10 ft of us, right beneath our hide.
Whats more he stayed and gave us a glorious display of diving and preening for a good 10 minutes.
Just before this, I was moaning that we hadn't seen much....
