This image is almost full frame on my Nikon D300, so quite a high resolution start point. Even so it took me well over half an hour to tease all the detail out in Photoshop (hence my rather cheeky request for folks to check out the full size image ).

Beautiful shot Bruce, very well detailed.
when i see shots like this i start kicking myself for letting my telescope go was only a cheap 4" but still gave a nice view of the Moon.

Thanks for your comments Gray . Yeah I know how you feel.....my scope sat in the garage under sheets for nearly 18 years and I almost sold it on a couple of occasions too.
