Chuck bricks at it? With that menacing eye and hooked beak, you would need to make sure you could escape to safety quick enough! Super shot though - really shows up the detail so clearly.

Thanks guys: we had been out pre dawn in search of 'night critters' and failed so seeing this bird snoozing in lovely dawn light it just had to be attempted - in fact it wasn't bothered at all - I suppose when nothing bad happened after we had crept up on it - then it didn't feel the need to be afraid when we packed stuff away and walked gently back past it!
