Moorhen chick feeding in some old Daffodils I am sure that the mother thinks it is pretty. there was a female Pheasant there that the mother chased away.

I am sure the mother does thinks it's pretty Neil even more so when it grows a few more feathers on it's head Lovely capture

Hi

Thank you all for the kind comments. I saw the chicks again today as I was fishing for Trout (good day caught ten Trout). The feathers on the head have filled in and they look prettier already. Lots of Mallards showing of their chicks on the pools. A pair of Mute swans sitting six eggs, it makes a lovely day out.
