Thank you Ian. I took the standard in situ shots first then took the risk in coaxing it gently to the top of the grass. To my delight, it obliged and I managed to get a few shots of him with my Macro lens. If you want to zoom in closer you can, if you visit my SmugMug site where I have the full size images. I do not think we are allowed to put direct links in these posts anymore but you will find them under recent images/Butterflies and other insects.
When I got home, I read the guide about them and learnt to my horror that they can give a nasty bite!
