Just after leaving the badger sett I stepped out from the woods to bump right into this young Deer. It was very relaxed about seeing me so I grabbed a quick shot.

Thanks Lea. You're right about Nocturnal Mark, out most evenings looking for wildlife as the daytime usually means work. Can sometimes get a bit spooked when hiding deep in the middle of the woods in pitch-black on my own though.

Excellent Mark and as you say getting the flash off camera would eliminate the glowing eyes but in this case I don't think it's detrimental to the image at all.

I know its old, but i would just like to add that I have quite a few pictures of roe deer in daytime (although normally in darker woodland) in which i have used no flash and still got this green eye effect. Photoshop is your friend
