These guys were very keen to get to the peanuts and raisins that I dropped into their Sett. They must be getting used to me hanging around as at one point I was no more than six feet away from them. One of the most amazing wildlife experiences that I've had so far.

Nice capture Mark, I've never seen these in the wild, it must be quite exciting seeing them up that close, well done.

Beautiful shot Mark, I've never seen wild one's either.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. It really is amazing to see these in the wild. As they make their way up to the entrance you can hear them and that is a great feeling of excitement.

Mark.

Two very nice shots of a rather rare animal. Not surprised that you found it to be such an 'amazing wildlife experience'. Not many of us will manage such a good shot of a badger. Very well done.

Thanks John. You are not going to believe this.... I have found a further two Setts very near to this one (It's an invasion!) Obviously this area has something that badgers like.

Mark.

Wait till word goes round the setts that there's a photographer about scattering peanuts!!! Hahahaha! No seriously as they say - very nice work and I can tell just how much you are enjoying this!

Thanks for the compliment PMG.

Too late I'm afraid. The badgers know all about the peanuts so now they're visiting the Sett from miles around. The peanuts are the best investment toward my photography so far though.
