I like this composition very much (but I would have added a 'fake' catchlight to its eye ....... ) It is a black T - they look long slim elegant and plain coloured whereas Bar T appear podgy and short and very patterned plumage!

Thanks Wayne and Pauline, I was pretty sure it was a B-T godwit, but it's always nice to have another opinion. Mmmm, could have put in a "fake" catchlight Pauline, to be honest though, I didn't even think about it.
