I recently found this sleeping bee in my garden clamped to a piece of conifer with its jaws. This is not something I've seen before, other than in photos.

Silky shot matt the shapes in the vegetation echo the articulations in the bee.

Superb Matt. I've built up a picture in my mind of a Bee that's been rescued from a half empty beer glass and flew off to the nearest perch to sort it's head out. Any minute it's going to wake up and wonder "what happened last night", "how did I end up here", "never again". Nice one.
