Welcome to a 'Darrener'! I was brought up in Darwen (I wasn't born here but its home) and if I had a pound for every time I've stood looking at that view I'd be very rich! Its brought tears of longing to my eyes esp with the snow - I must make time for a walk thro 'the wood to the ressy' ...........

I spent a bit of time in Darwen as a lad (The Lancashire part of the family [we don't talk about them much;]) came from there and Bolton). Mostly, I remember cold, wet winds blowing over the cemetery! Nice picture.
