Thanks folks: we've spent years watching this sett and only tried the cameras at it half a dozen times - sometimes they are calm and only interested in eating the food we put out - other times they are wary, its too quiet or the wind changes direction and 'wafts' our smell up their noses and off back down the sett they bumble!

Thanks Bryan - its very hit and miss with badgers - if we lived nearby and were able to go everynight it would get easier - thats the trick to have them associate you with food and nothing bad happens when they smell you are there ...........
