Thanks PMG. Are you likely to have the chance to see one where you are? They are supposed to be present more in the south-east of England and East Anglia, a few scattered up to Yorkshire. I think I'm in an upward rising belt from East Anglia as some rarer Damselflies and Dragonflies are found not far away too. Some day I must hunt them out. I wouldn't have seen this either if I hadn't stood outside until the early hours, lol, I had quite a lot of different ones come at the end of July when it turned warm after the very cold weather. My first serious year of taking their pics so it's been a wonderful discovery to find so many.
