Thanks Elaine and Graham - I know these woods so well its just a matter of nature playing its part and then being in the right place at the right time to take advantage of the light. I have a special collection of four photos of this beech avenue depicting what we used to know as the four seasons.

I like this photo David but love your 'Four Seasons' photos you have posted above (all need clicking on individually and opening to view all at once for the full effect)

I can see these as canvases on a wall, really lovely set of four images.



(don't know how I came to be here from 2012? Must be raining outside, glad I saw these 4 photos though)
