This is a composite from 195 source images giving a total exposure time of 1 hour and 40 minutes. I spent over 2 hours in a graveyard on a freezing cold night to get this shot. Good job I'm not scared of ghosts!

Excellent. Well done Dave.

Is that the Pole Star, that the others are circling ?

Thanks guys,

Didn't see any ghosts Jason but there were some strange noises coming from the woods just behind me - spooky!

Yep, that's Polaris Ben. It's always a good idea to try and get the pole star in frame for star trail shots as it provides such a good focal point.

That's skill mate, and a lovely picture to go with it. Get yourself some nice gloves and a knitted scarf next time though

Thanks all!

Nick, it's thermal underwear and better socks that I need. I was wearing two fleeces and a padded jacket plus a pair of thinsulate gloves so I was nice and toasty up top. It was my bum and feet that froze! Worth it though!
