The pores of Birch Mazegill are more pronouncedly gill-like, radiating outwardly and forking in a maze-like pattern.



As Nick has stated elsewhere this is more likely Daedaleopsis confragosa - Blushing Bracket whose large pores are somewhat elongated (slot-like) and bruise pinkish on handling.

oops!, thanks to you and nick for the correction, when you really look at the pores of both species the difference in the pores is very clear ,
