The veins look too prominent for Spurge Laurel (see my pic in the Trees gallery) I think it may be Cherry Laurel (Prunus laurocerasus). How big was the plant?

It was a fairly typical size for a Laurel, 6-9ft high and rather gangly. I've posted a picture of the flowers here.

Does look like a Cherry Laurel
