I wondered if these shots where taken at the Rothiemurchus fish farm. I looked in there recently, but they now want £70 (yes - that's seventy quid) a day for photographing the ospreys!

Thanks folks, and yes, they were taken at the fish farm, which, until last year was a favourite haunt of mine at dawn. As a local and a "Friends of Rothiemurchus" ticket holder (at £10 a year) I was previously able to jump the gate at dawn, with the full knowledge of the staff who I got to know quite well over the years. But as you say it is now £75 actually for a morning with the use of a hide and a guide. It was £50 last year, and I understand it is going to be £100 next, but sadly no concessions it would appear for the locals - it would even cost me £10 a day as a "serious photographer" (how that is defined I don't quite know) to go in during normal fishery hours 9-dusk. I thought of going in with a Comic-relief red nose but I still don't think I'd get in. As a "friend" I can still go in free to "view wildlife" officially, but can only take it would appear a little compact camera. I can't blame Rothiemurchus for making a few bob, but this quite frankly is profiteering at its worse I'm afraid.
