The chance of a lifetime, this male perched right in front of me for about five seconds, I only managed three frames but thankfully the Bigma locked on first time!

Thanks Pauline, I must admit when this big fella perched right in front of me my heart nearly stopped!

Thankfully I bagged the image that I have been wanting for the last 10 years or so. It could be a long time before I get another chance like this with this species!

Thanks guys, I doubt very much if I will get another Dragonfly image this year that betters this one, not really because of its quality, more in terms of what it meant to me to get it.
