My street is quite liderally drowning in these beautiful moths again this year.

Wonderful colours and a joy to watch.



They remind me of goldfinches in a way - bouncing about during the day - seemingly enjoying themselves.



If anyone in my area (Reading) sees a butterfly at present, its almost certainly no butterfly - its a Scarlet Tiger Moth....
