A leaf weevil apparently - and I found dozens on a blackberry bush - they were even brighter blue and more noticeable than my photo suggests!

And I forgot to mention - the thing I found interesting is the forward facing 'tooth' on the front femurs - the books don't say whether its for use in mating or fighting!
