Iv seen hundreds of these birds and have allways wanted to get close enough to photograph one, and if I ever manage it I hope it will be nearly as good as this.

Very nice! Love the 3-D effect created by the out-of-focus foreground and background. The focus on the eye is spot on and teh composition is great - well done!

Lovely colourful shot, well done



I walked up my garden the other week to find one of these on my low bird table eating the wild bird seed, I had to do a double take because I never noticed him until I was right next to him. He must have been hungry because he never budged and spent a good hour exploring my garden.......... with me and my camera in hot pursuit
