A beautiful image Mike of a beautiful bird! The tree hole (is there a proper word for it?)frames the owl so well - you couldn't imagine anything which would be better!

Thanks Goosey. I specialised in all species of owls as it set a challenge to take photographs at night.

The term 'tree hole' is just fine.
