Doesn't look like any Russula to me. Looks more like a Lactarius. Look at the marks on the stipe.

No, it's not Russula ochroleuca as has already been suggested, but one of the group near to Russula nigricans - it's not R. nigricans itself since the gills are too close together thus must be Russula anthracina or R. albonigra - but obviously we will never know which !!
