Thats a nice looking inkcap, I have never seen any of these before - or a field full of fungi like your other image. Great photos Solus .

Thanks Goosey!

I couldn't believe that field as we drove past - Himself thought at a quick glance it was scattered rubbish of some sort. Luckily we could reverse up onto the verge where there was a gap we could get in through - absolutely amazing! There were some faint lines in the grass and little white boundary posts in the distance and some sand in the grass roots area, which has clearly been mown so the field has certainly been used for sports during the summer. I was so excited as I knew I hadn't seen anything like that in the WAB Gallery and couldn't wait to post my pics.



There were quite a lot of Magpie caps on either side of the woodland rides in Cirencester Park and many were well past it but we did eventually find some decent un-slugged specimens and I rather liked the autumnal trees in the background.



Now "all" I have to do is try and identify all the little brown jobs we found as well....
