Nice detailed shot Matt, you cant beat the Panasonic/Raynox combo for small subjects like this.

thanks Mark and you're right. There are some situations (e.g. damsels, butterflies) where my DSLR and macro lens win hands down, but for small flies etc the Panasonic and DCR lens definitely have the edge.

I wish I still had my Olympus C8080 for fungi It's for the same reason ... The Nikon D80 / Sigma 105 is just not in the same class! DSLR's lack so much shadow detail
