Is the Wool carder bee - Anthidium manicatum - on some form of Echium flower?

It is on common sage. I found it interesting how it grabs the flower with its mandibles as if it does not want to fall off when sleeping (although I am not sure if insects 'sleep'). To attract this bee, Stachys (Lambs ears) and other labiates (sage, lavender especially) are important. Sorry about late reply!
