You do find some unusual birds your way Graham. First the Blue Tit and now this. Do you live by a Nuclear Power Station by any chance.
Smashing image. I would love one to visit our garden but if one did I'm sure our local Sparrowhawk would soon pick it off.

This bird has been living around Rufford Park for over three years now, it's obviously surviving very well. it mixes with the other blackbirds, they don't seem to notice the difference!

This has got to be the most mis-named bird ever. More so than when my daughter asked me why the female blackbird wasn't.
